"'Rockets' is an ode to my obsession with space and all things intergalactic - X Files, Ancient Aliens, Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan - I never felt like I fit anywhere growing up, and so I daydreamed about ETs, black holes, the end of the world. The track is kind of a metaphor for the journeys you take in life that test your limits, and the people (including, sometimes, yourself) who mislead and disappoint you, leave you drifting..."
